Questions sellers ask
How much does card consignment cost at Gaming Otaku?
Commission is charged per card on its selling price: 15% from S$20 (minimum S$3), 12% from S$100, 10% from S$500, 8% from S$2,000 and 5% from S$10,000. There are no listing, photo or drop-off fees.
How fast do I get paid after my card sells?
By PayNow within 3 working days after the buyer receives your card, with an email statement. You can take store credit worth 10% more instead.
Which cards can I consign?
Pokémon, One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Riftbound, Disney Lorcana, Topps Chrome and other trading cards worth S$20 or more, raw or graded, in English, Japanese or Chinese.
Who sets the price?
You do, with our help. We suggest a price from recent sales, then agree a listing price and a lowest price with you. We can accept offers at or above your lowest price without checking with you first.
Is the rate charged in slices?
No. One rate applies to the whole selling price. A card that sells for S$600 is charged 10% (S$60), so you get S$540.
What happens if my card doesn’t sell?
At day 45 we send a price check. At day 90 you choose to renew for another 90 days, change the price, or collect your cards. If we don’t hear from you within 14 days, we renew once at the same price.
Do you accept cards under S$20?
Not on consignment, but we may buy them outright. Mention them in the form and we will make you an offer.
Are my cards safe with you?
Cards stay sleeved or in their slabs and are stored securely. If a card is lost or damaged in our care, we pay you your agreed lowest price minus commission.
Do you accept cards from outside Singapore?
For now we accept consignments from sellers in Singapore only.

Consignment terms
- Our role. GAMING OTAKU LLP sells your cards as your agent. You own each card until it sells.
- Your promise. You own the cards and have the right to sell them, and they are genuine. Fake, altered or trimmed cards are returned at your cost.
- Checking cards. We may decline any card. Raw cards are described on a stated condition scale; graded cards use the grader’s label. Wear present at intake is noted on your receipt.
- Prices. We agree a listing price and a lowest price per card with you. We may accept offers at or above your lowest price.
- Where we sell. Our website and other channels we use, such as Carousell, Instagram, Telegram and card shows.
- Commission. Set by the final selling price using the rate table on this page, minimum S$3 per card, taken before payout. Each card’s rate is fixed on the day you consign it.
- Payout. By PayNow within 3 working days after the buyer receives the card, with a statement. You can choose store credit worth 10% more instead.
- Returns from buyers. If a sale is reversed under our returns policy, no commission is charged and the card goes back on sale. If a card is found to be fake after a sale, you refund the payout.
- Care of your cards. If a card is lost or damaged while we hold it, we pay you the agreed lowest price minus commission.
- Duration and withdrawal. Each consignment runs for 90 days. Withdrawing a card within the first 30 days costs S$5 per card; after that it is free. You collect by appointment, or we post it at your cost.
- Unsold cards. At day 90 you renew, reprice or collect. With no reply within 14 days, cards renew once at the same price. After that, or once you ask to collect, you have 30 days to collect; then storage costs S$2 per card per month. Cards left uncollected for 6 months after written notice may be sold at market price, with the proceeds paid to you minus commission and storage.
- Fees. No listing, photo or drop-off fees. The only charges are commission, early withdrawal, storage on uncollected cards, and any optional grading you ask for.
- Your data. Used only to run your consignment and pay you, under our Privacy Policy.
- Changes and law. We may change these terms for future consignments with notice on this page. Singapore law applies.
