The Delta Reign release date for Singapore is Friday 6 November 2026, the worldwide date The Pokémon Company International gives for Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution: Delta Reign. The same Mega Rayquaza ex cards are not new to Asia, though: Japan released them as Storm Emeralda on 31 July 2026, and the Traditional Chinese version followed on 7 August. Here is how the versions line up, what the official Asia site says about Singapore, and what is still unconfirmed.
If you want the full set overview, prerelease format and key cards, our Delta Reign release date and key cards guide covers that. This post focuses on the Singapore and Asia picture.

Delta Reign release dates by version
Every date below comes from an official Pokémon TCG website, checked on 1 November 2026.
| Version | Set name | Release date | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Japanese | ストームエメラルダ (Storm Emeralda), MEGA expansion M6 | Friday 31 July 2026 | pokemon-card.com product page |
| Traditional Chinese | 綠寶石風暴 (Emerald Storm) | Friday 7 August 2026 | Pokémon TCG Asia, Chinese product page |
| English (worldwide) | Mega Evolution: Delta Reign | Friday 6 November 2026 | pokemon.com set page |
| English, Pokémon TCG Live app | Mega Evolution: Delta Reign | Thursday 5 November 2026 | Pokémon press release, 20 August 2026 |
So the English set arrives 98 days after the Japanese one. None of these pages gives a launch time, so we won’t guess one.
What the official Asia site says about Singapore
The Pokémon TCG Asia website for Singapore has not published a separate product page with an Asia English release date for Delta Reign; its products page did not list one when we checked on 1 November. What it has published are two event notices that point to the same timing as the worldwide date:
- A Build & Battle Box Pre-Release Event held “to celebrate the release” of Delta Reign, running from late October 2026 until Thursday 5 November 2026.
- A Delta Reign New Expansion Battle at Pokémon Trading Card Game Gym venues, running from 6 November 2026 until 6 December 2026, depending on the venue.
The prerelease window closes the day before 6 November and the expansion events start on 6 November, which fits the worldwide date. Details for individual Singapore venues are listed on the Asia site’s Event Search, so check there rather than relying on dates passed around online.
Same cards, different names
The three versions share the same headline card. Japan’s product page calls it メガレックウザ ex, the Chinese page calls it 超級烈空坐 ex, and in English it is Mega Rayquaza ex. The attack name is a neat clue to the set names: in English, Mega Rayquaza ex’s attack is called Storm Emerald, which echoes the Japanese set title Storm Emeralda.

On 30 October 2026 pokemon.com previewed the English Mega Rayquaza ex special illustration rare. It is illustrated by Kazuki Minami, the grand prize winner of the Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest 2024. According to that preview, the card has 280 HP, its Ruler’s Roar Ability lets you look at the top four cards of your deck and attach a Basic Energy when you play it to your Bench, and Storm Emerald does 50 damage for each Fire and Lightning Energy attached to all your Pokémon.

The Legendary Stadiums also appear in every version: the Japanese and Chinese product pages both show two Stadium halves that are played together as one card, matching the English feature.
Card counts are not the same
The versions are not identical lists. The pokemon.com set page says Delta Reign has over 135 cards. The Chinese product page lists Emerald Storm as 76 cards plus unrevealed extras. Pokémon’s official pages don’t explain the difference card by card, so if you are matching Japanese or Chinese cards against an English checklist, use each version’s own official card list rather than assuming the numbers line up.
Which version is which: a quick checklist
If you collect more than one language, these checks help you tell the versions apart:
- Set name on the packaging: Delta Reign in English, ストームエメラルダ in Japanese, 綠寶石風暴 in Traditional Chinese.
- Language of the card text: obvious, but worth checking on singles, where the front of the card is all you see.
- Card numbering: the English set has more cards than the Chinese listing, so do not expect collector numbers to match across versions for the same card.
- Language guide: our Japanese, Asia English or English cards guide explains how the language versions differ in Singapore.
What is not confirmed yet
We could not confirm the following from official Pokémon sources on 1 November 2026, so we are not stating them:
- A separate Asia English release date or launch time for Singapore beyond the event notices above.
- Release details for Simplified Chinese, Korean, Thai or Indonesian versions of these cards.
- Whether every English card has a direct Japanese or Chinese counterpart.
We will update this post if the official Asia site publishes more.
