Disney Lorcana Into the Inkdark has a prerelease date of 5 February 2027 and goes on general release on 12 February 2027, according to Ravensburger’s official Into the Inkdark page. Ravensburger has called it “the first set to be released in 2027”. These are global dates, and Ravensburger has not published a separate Singapore date.
It is also the set that brings collector boosters and a new rarity, Illustrious, to Lorcana. Here is what Ravensburger has confirmed so far, and what is still unannounced.
When is Into the Inkdark released?
The official product page lists two dates. Here they are, with the weekday added.
| Date | What Ravensburger lists |
|---|---|
| Friday 5 February 2027 | Prerelease |
| Friday 12 February 2027 | Release everywhere |
The page shows one set of dates, with no regional or Singapore-specific date and no release time, so we won’t guess one. If you are in Singapore, treat these as the official global dates and check the official page again closer to February, in case anything changes.
What is Into the Inkdark about?
In its 22 September 2026 announcement, Ravensburger said a Hades glimmer “is up to something sinister in the depths beneath the realm of Lorcana”.
The product page fills in the mood. It describes a meticulous plotter, a “villainous hothead”, scheming in the depths of the Inkdark, and sends players into a “perilous valley of giant glimmers and cavernous mines” to try to drain enough of his power to stop disaster.
If you are still getting to know the current story, our guide to Hyperia City, the current Disney Lorcana set, covers what is out now.
What are Disney Lorcana collector boosters?
Collector boosters are a new product type, and Into the Inkdark is the set that introduces them. Here is what Ravensburger has confirmed:
- Same card count as a standard pack. Ravensburger says both standard booster packs and collector boosters contain 12 randomised cards of all rarities.
- Every card is foil. The product page says every card inside a collector booster “sports a beautiful foil”.
- Rarer cards are more likely. In Ravensburger’s words, “the likelihood of pulling a rarer Enchanted or Iconic card is much higher than that of a standard booster pack”. Ravensburger has not published odds, so we won’t put a number on that.
On availability, Ravensburger’s announcement says collector boosters “will be available at select Ravensburger Play Hub stores as well as Disney Parks and stores”. That is Ravensburger’s global wording; it has not said anything specific about Singapore.
What is the Illustrious rarity?
Illustrious is a brand-new rarity, and Ravensburger’s product page says it is “Only in Collector Boosters”. According to the announcement:
- Illustrious cards are found only in collector boosters, not in standard booster packs.
- They are “the first serialized Disney Lorcana TCG cards”, meaning each card carries its own individual number.
- They feature bespoke art by popular artists, each illustrated in that artist’s own style.
For collectors, serialised cards are a new idea in Lorcana. As with any card you plan to keep, check the card itself and the official card gallery once the set is out, rather than relying on descriptions from other people.
What we don’t know yet
Ravensburger has not yet published several details on its official pages, so we are leaving these out rather than guessing:
- The full card list and card count
- The set number
- A Singapore-specific release date or time
- The full product line-up for the set
- Odds for collector boosters or Illustrious cards
