2026 Topps Chrome x Jennie came out on 20 October 2026, and it is the first Topps Chrome set built around a single music artist, BLACKPINK’s Jennie Kim. Each box holds 10 Chrome cards: 6 base cards, 2 inserts and 2 base parallels, according to Topps’ product page.
Pre-orders opened on Topps.com on 20 August 2026, as Billboard reported that day. Topps lists it as an online exclusive box, and its product page now shows it as sold out. This guide walks through the checklist so you know what each card is, and what to check before you trade for one.

What the set is built around
Topps says the set covers Jennie’s solo era rather than the group. On Topps’ Ripped story page, the base cards use original photoshoot images, the short prints use key art from her debut solo album Ruby, and the relics carry swatches from a jacket she wore during a live performance.
The checklist at a glance
Subject counts below come from the checklist on Topps’ product page.
| Card type | Subjects | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| Base | 30 | Photoshoot images on Chrome stock |
| Chromium Close-Ups (insert) | 10 | Tighter, close-up portraits |
| Monochrome Mementos (insert) | 10 | Polaroid-style monochrome images, the rarer of the two inserts, per Topps’ Ripped page |
| Ruby Short Prints | 2 | Ruby album artwork |
| Ruby Super Short Print | 1 | Ruby album artwork, the scarcest base-style card |
| Concert Relics | 1 | Swatch of concert-worn clothing |
| Base Autograph Variations | 10 | Jennie’s first Topps Chrome autographs |
| Ruby SP Autograph Variations | 2 | Signed Ruby short prints |
| Ruby SSP Autograph Variation | 1 | Signed Ruby super short print |
| Concert Autograph-Relics | 1 | Signed relic card |
Short print and super short print mean Topps printed fewer of those cards than the regular base set. Topps does not publish how many, and we won’t guess.
The parallel rainbow
A parallel is the same card as the base version with a different finish or colour. On Topps Chrome, most colour parallels are serial numbered on the card, so you can see exactly how many exist.
| Parallel | Numbered to |
|---|---|
| Refractor | Not numbered |
| Teal Refractor | 299 |
| Yellow Refractor | 275 |
| Pink Refractor | 250 |
| Pink Wave Refractor | 225 |
| Aqua Refractor | 199 |
| Blue Refractor | 150 |
| Blue Wave Refractor | 125 |
| Green Refractor | 99 |
| Purple Refractor | 75 |
| Gold Refractor | 50 |
| Orange Refractor | 25 |
| Black Refractor | 10 |
| Red Refractor | 5 |
| Superfractor | 1 of 1 |
That is the base set rainbow. The two insert sets have a shorter run, from Aqua (/199) down to the Superfractor (1/1). Concert Relics use foil parallels instead: Purple Foil /75, Gold Foil /50, Orange Foil /25, Black Foil /10, Red Foil /5 and a 1 of 1 FoilFractor.
Autographs and their parallels
Topps describes the Base Autograph Variations as Jennie’s first Topps Chrome autographs. Every autograph line has numbered parallels:
- Base Autograph Variations: Black Refractor /10, Red Refractor /5, Superfractor 1/1
- Ruby SP Autograph Variations: Black /10, Red /5, Superfractor 1/1
- Concert Autograph-Relics: Black /10, Red /5, Superfractor 1/1
- Ruby SSP Autograph Variation: Red /5, Superfractor 1/1
Topps does not give pack odds for these on its product page, so treat any autograph or relic as a rare pull rather than something a box should contain.
How to check a card before you trade
Fakes and doctored cards follow popular releases, so slow down on any high-end card. Our guide to spotting fake trading cards covers the general checks. For this set specifically:
- Match it to the checklist. The parallel must exist at that print run. A “Teal /250” or a numbered insert Refractor below Aqua does not appear on Topps’ list.
- Check the serial number. The number on the card must not be higher than the print run, for example 312/299 is impossible.
- Compare the finish. Look at a known base card and the parallel side by side under one light. Chrome stock has a smooth, mirror-like shine, and Refractors throw a rainbow when tilted.
- Ask for clear photos of the front and back, including the serial number and edges, before agreeing a trade online.
- Be careful with 1 of 1 and Red /5 claims. These are the cards most worth faking, so ask for more proof, or look for a card already graded by a known company.
Care and grading basics
Chrome surfaces show fingerprints and fine scratches, and corners chip easily, so sleeve a card straight from the pack, then put it in a toploader. Singapore’s humidity makes storage matter more; see our guide to storing cards in Singapore’s humidity.
Grading companies such as PSA, Beckett and CGC inspect a card, give it a grade and seal it in a slab. Before sending anything, check centring, corners, edges and surface yourself. Our card condition guide explains what to look for.
FAQs
When did Topps Chrome x Jennie come out?
Topps lists the release date as 20 October 2026. Pre-orders opened on Topps.com on 20 August 2026, and Topps said pre-orders would ship ahead of the release date. Topps sold it as an online exclusive box, and its product page now shows it as sold out. Topps has not published a separate date for Singapore.
What is in a Topps Chrome x Jennie box?
Each box contains 10 Chrome cards: 6 base cards, 2 inserts and 2 base parallels, according to Topps. Autographs, relics and autograph-relics are much rarer and are not in every box. Topps has not published pack odds on its product page, so we do not list any here.
How many base cards are in the set?
The base set has 30 subjects, all using photoshoot images of Jennie. On top of that there are two 10-card insert sets, Chromium Close-Ups and Monochrome Mementos, plus two Ruby Short Prints and one Ruby Super Short Print featuring Ruby album artwork.
What is the rarest Topps Chrome x Jennie card?
Every Superfractor and FoilFractor is a 1 of 1, so only one exists of each. Among the autographs, the Ruby SSP Autograph Variation has only a Red /5 and a Superfractor 1/1 parallel above the base version, according to the checklist on Topps’ product page.
Are the Jennie autographs on-card?
Topps describes the Base Autograph Variations as Jennie’s first Topps Chrome autographs, and its Ripped story page says the set pairs Chrome shine with on-card autographs. If you are checking a signed card, compare it with the checklist and ask for clear photos of the front and back, including the serial number.
Should I grade my Jennie card?
Grading makes most sense for cards you plan to keep or trade at a high level, such as numbered parallels, short prints and autographs. Check centring, corners, edges and surface first, because Chrome surfaces show scratches easily. Our card condition guide explains each of those checks in plain terms.
