What is a GYM Shop?
On the official Pokémon Game On! events page, Pokémon TCG GYM Shops are described as officially certified card shops for the Pokémon Trading Card Game, and Gym Battles are the events they organise. The official List of Events says to use Event Search and Store Search to look up eligible stores.
The campaign page does not name individual shops, and neither do we. To find one near you, use the official Store Search, which groups shops by area (East, North East, Central, North and West), or the official Event Search, which shows upcoming GYM events by date.
How to earn ASIA Promo Cards, step by step
- Pick up an official Stamp Card at any GYM Shop. The campaign page notes that Stamp Card availability may vary from shop to shop.
- Join an official GYM event. The campaign page lists five official GYM event types (see the next section).
- Collect stamps. Each time you reach two stamps, you can get one random ASIA Promo Card.
- Check redemption with the shop. The page says the start date of ASIA Promo Card redemption may be later than 1 October and may vary between GYM Shops, and asks players to contact each GYM Shop directly about availability.
Some official events also need a Trainers Website ID. The Participating in Events page says to check each event’s detail page in Event Search for its participation requirements before you register.
Which events count for stamps
The campaign page lists five official GYM events. The descriptions below come from the official List of Events.
| Event | What it is |
|---|---|
| Pokémon Trading Card Game Beginner’s Session | A session to learn how to play, taking around 30 minutes |
| Novice Challenge | A 120-minute event played with a Battle Academy, so you do not need your own deck |
| Pokémon TCG Gym Battle | A 90-minute event with your own 60-card deck that meets the format, over 3 Swiss Draw matches of 25 minutes |
| New Expansion Battle | A Special Regulation event held with the release of a new product |
| Expanded Format Battle | A day of battles in the Expanded format with a 60-card deck |
In Event Search, Singapore events are filed under event types such as “Pokémon TCG GYM Battle – October 2026” and “Beginner’s Session – October 2026”, with November versions too, which makes eligible events easy to filter.
What about the Mega Evolution: Delta Reign prerelease? Singapore’s Build & Battle Box Pre-Release Event began in late October and runs until Thursday 5 November 2026, according to the official page. It is not one of the five event types named on the campaign page, so ask the shop whether it gives a stamp. Our Delta Reign guide covers the set itself.
What the ASIA Promo Cards are, and what the page does not say
Each pair of stamps gets you one random ASIA Promo Card, so you cannot pick which one you receive. The campaign banner on the official page pictures a Reshiram card with an ASIA Promo mark, but the page text does not list every card in the campaign or give any odds, so we will not guess.
Do not confuse these with GYM promo cards. A separate official notice says that from 1 June 2026, a new round of GYM promo cards would be available at Gym shops as a reward for taking part in events, while stocks last, and the List of Events names awards such as a Present Pack with 3 Gym Promo Cards. ASIA Promo Cards from the campaign come from collecting stamps.
Before you go: a quick checklist
- Find a GYM Shop with Store Search, and an event that suits you with Event Search.
- Ask about the Stamp Card and redemption before your first event, since both can vary by shop.
- Check the event detail page for format, deck rules and how to register.
- Bring the right deck. Gym Battles and Expanded Format Battles ask for your own 60-card deck; the Novice Challenge does not.
- Note the end date. The campaign runs until 30 November 2026.
