Tickets: what each type covers
AFA has not finished announcing ticketing details, but its page explains what each ticket type unlocks:
| Ticket type | Access |
|---|---|
| Exhibition | Exhibition Hall |
| Exhibition + Stage | Exhibition Hall and Day Stage |
| Concert | Exhibition Hall, Day Stage and that night’s concert |
So a concert ticket also lets you into the exhibition and Day Stage. We have left out prices; check AFA’s official ticket page for current tiers.
Tips for collectors at AFA
- Plan around the concerts. The exhibition closes at 8pm and concert doors open at 6pm, so concert-goers may want to do the hall earlier in the day.
- Know what you are looking at. Prize figures, scale figures and Nendoroids differ a lot; our anime figure types guide explains the terms.
- Check figures carefully. Busy events attract sellers of all kinds, so run through our bootleg figure checklist before you pay.
- Bring protection for prints and cards. A rigid folder keeps signed posters and art prints flat on the train home.
