Bandai’s English Fusion World site lists Booster Pack: Brightness of Hope [FB11] for 16 October 2026, while its Asia (English) and Japanese sites list 12 September 2026. FB11 Brightness of Hope is a crossover with the mobile game DRAGON BALL LEGENDS, with five new Leaders and 123 card types, according to Bandai’s FB11 product page.
Brightness of Hope [FB11] release date by edition
Bandai runs separate Fusion World sites by region, as its global entrance page shows. Three of them list FB11 like this.
| Bandai site | FB11 release date | Cards per pack |
|---|---|---|
| Japanese site | Sat 12 September 2026 | 6 |
| Asia (English) site | Sat 12 September 2026 | 6 |
| English site (North America, Latin America, Europe, Oceania) | Fri 16 October 2026 | 12 |
All three list 123 card types. None of these pages gives a separate release date for Singapore, so treat each date as that site’s own.
What Fusion World is (and what it is not)
Fusion World is Bandai’s newer Dragon Ball card game. Bandai’s For Beginners page describes it as “a new title” that “can be played more intuitively while inheriting the basic rules” of the original Dragon Ball Super Card Game. That original game carries on separately on Bandai’s Masters site, so FB11 is a Fusion World product, not a Masters one.
The five new Leaders in FB11
Bandai’s product page lists five new Leader cards, each in a different colour. The colours below are the ones Bandai uses for each Leader’s digital version collection set.
| Card number | Leader | Colour |
|---|---|---|
| FB11-001 | Son Goku | Red |
| FB11-025 | Trunks: Future / Son Gohan: Future | Blue |
| FB11-049 | Goku Black | Green |
| FB11-073 | Shallot/Giblet | Yellow |
| FB11-097 | Bardock | Black |
Fusion World Leaders can Awaken once a condition is met. The text below is Bandai’s product-page summary, minus its promotional lines.
FB11-001 Son Goku
“Awaken when your life is at 4 or less, or when you have 2 or more energy and a card with [Evolve] in your Battle Area.” When Awakened, “when an opponent’s Battle Card attacks, you can choose 1 card with [Evolve] in your Battle Area and change the attack target to that card.” Bandai adds: “This effect can only be activated once per turn”.
FB11-025 Trunks: Future / Son Gohan: Future
“If the total [Ki] in your Battle Area is 2 or more, draw 1 card and Awaken.” When Awakened, “once per turn, you can choose up to 1 of your Battle Cards with ‘Future’ in its card name and add +1 [Ki] to it, then return up to 1 of your Battle Cards with ‘Future’ in its card name and an original energy cost of 3 or less to your hand.”
FB11-049 Goku Black
“If you have a ‘Goku Black’ or ‘Zamasu’ in your Battle Area and the total [Ki] in your Battle Area is 2 or more, draw 1 card and Awaken.” Then: “When Awakened and when attacking, draw 2 cards and you may discard 1 card from your hand. Then, choose up to 1 ‘Goku Black’ and up to 1 ‘Zamasu’ in your Battle Area and give each of them +1 [Ki].”
FB11-073 Shallot/Giblet
“This Leader comes with the restriction that you cannot play cards with [Evolve] and an original energy cost of 4 or less for the duration of the game.” It can “Awaken when your life is at 5 or less”. When Awakened, “once per turn, if you have both ‘Shallot’ and ‘Giblet’ in your Battle Area, switch 2 of your energy to Active Mode.” Bandai adds: “After that, you cannot play Battle Cards with an original energy cost of 4 or less for the rest of the turn”.
FB11-097 Bardock
“If this card has 2 or more [Ki], draw 1 card and Awaken.” When Awakened, “once per turn, you can give this card -1 [Ki] to choose up to 1 of your cost 2 cards with the <Bardock’s Crew> trait in your Drop Area and activate its [When KO’d] skill. Then, place that card at the bottom of your deck.”
These are highlight summaries, not full card text. For the complete wording, search each card number in Bandai’s official card list.
DRAGON BALL LEGENDS collab cards and alt arts
Bandai’s product page highlights these special cards in FB11:
- Visual Alt-Art cards “inspired by iconic moments from the Dragon Ball series”, plus one special collaboration card with DRAGON BALL LEGENDS in each colour.
- Super Combo alt arts: alt-art versions of the Super Combo cards, with the yellow Beerus card carrying a special DRAGON BALL LEGENDS collaboration design.
- Leader and SR alt arts: every Leader and SR card in the set has an alt-art version.
- Super alt-art SCRs: all 3 SCR cards, FB11-121, FB11-122 and FB11-123, get super alt-art versions.
The product page does not say how often any of these appear in packs, so we won’t guess. Collecting alt arts as singles? Read our guides to spotting fake trading cards and card condition grades first.
Release events and the digital version
Bandai’s FB11 Release Event page on its English site listed release events at participating stores from 16 to 22 October 2026, with sealed play and participation cards including FP-095 Shallot and FP-102 Son Gohan: Future. That window has now closed.
FB11 also arrived in the digital version of Fusion World on 20 October 2026, according to Bandai’s digital version news. Bandai’s For Beginners page says the digital version is free to download and play on a Windows PC.
What comes next: Reach the God [FB12]

On the English site, two starter decks follow on 22 January 2027: The Saiyan Raised on Earth [FS13] and The Prince of Saiyan [FS14].
